“It Was Never a Phase.” Join the Humane Society of St. Joseph County for a night of nostalgia, music, and meaning at our Emo Night Dance Party Fundraiser—where the eyeliner may fade, but the passion never did. This year’s event holds special significance as we celebrate 20 years of dedication from Executive Director Genny Brown. What started as a passion for helping animals has grown into a lifelong commitment to serving our community—because caring for animals was never a phase. Guests will come together for an unforgettable evening of throwback emo hits, dancing, tattoos by Mystic Union Tattoos, themed merch, and interactive experiences—all while supporting animals in need across St. Joseph County.

Each year, the Humane Society of St. Joseph County provides care and services for more than 3,000 animals. As the only open-admission shelter in Michiana consistently maintaining a 90%+ save rate, our work is both essential and ongoing.
